Intro (Dragon Kingdom)

The law says that a male must rule the throne. In that, the first-born son of the king's first wife becomes king. If a daughter is born first, then the young son will rule, as follows the law. If no son is born from the first wife, then the first son of another wife rules. If no son is born, the first-born daughter must marry an allegeable male when she turns 15, and her husband shall rule before her.
If a daughter marries an available male, then the 2 kingdoms shall unite, and party from the first kingdom may come into the second.
Kingdoms are split into 3 rings. The inner ring is the king's domain. The mid ring is the upper class civilian. The outer ring, making up more than 50% of a kingdom, is the lower class dragons.
It has been said that generations before, there was only one ring to a kingdom. Everyone lived the same, in a group now called mid-class. The ruling family walked peacefully amongst their people, without a fear in the world.
That is, until Brodaunn became king, and separated his favorite of the people into a wealthier class, money given which was stolen from the lowest of his people. He would take many taxes, and low class citizens who could not pay, were executed without a second thought.
The lower class became hungry, weak, and poorer than poor. They began to loath the king, until the outer and inner rings never spoke or even glanced each others ways.

A few years ago, in a large kingdom, a kingdom that ruled all others, was born a daughter. Her name was Princess Mysta. She was beautiful, brave, and witty. She lived her days in the many green yards of the castle.
Every day, for an hour at least, she would sit in the tallest tower and watch the towns folk move like waves in an ocean. Her father, Zettol, tried his best to keep her from looking at the outer rings, but she would sneak away and watch anyways, trying to figure out why they always had funerals time and time again.
Princess Mysta grew older, and kept her word to watch over the outer limits. She knew her father would have no more children, and she knew she would rule, but she was afraid of what the town would think of her, and she was afraid of bachelors.
Onto her 15th birthday, Mysta's mother, Kaltia, decided it time Mysta wed a man from another large kingdom. Mysta tried her best to talk Kaltia out of it, but her mother insisted.
Her father chose a strong, wealthy male from a neighboring kingdom named Zareous. Her had a few wives, but not many, and ruled many a large kingdom. What Mysta's parents didn't know, though, was that Zareous ruled with an iron fist, silencing his kingdom and killing off anyone he didn't instantly like. He starved the poor and burned down their houses every chance he got. He was ruthless, and Mysta knew this.
